This is a great scooter so far. I got it for my 8 year old and we went on a ride for several miles around the neighborhood and it maintained its top speed and charge very well. It was easy to assemble, just slide the handlebar and tighten two base hex screws with the provided allen wrench. It is also safe with a sturdy hand brake and a throttle that my son controls to speed up and slow down. Hit the brake and it disengages the motor. The motor doesn’t start until the scooter is in motion at 3mph so there isn’t a jerking motion when he hits the throttle.
Kid LOVES it! Long charge times are kind of a pain, but the battery life is impressive. Assembly was easy. Brakes well. As such it is all gas or off, whereas some other models give you an analog input giving you infinite power levels between off and full throttle. I will update here as needed, as I do all my reviews – I am also logging battery life and will dump an average here soon….
This scooter seems perfect for my 11 year old. It goes pretty fast and she had to practice a bit to get comfortable. But it is sturdy, battery works good. All in all very happy with this purchase.
I like how the part where the child stands is wider than most other electric scooters. It was easy for my 8 year old daughter to learn to use and has been durable thus far.
Purchased for 8 year old girl. She was fearful of it until we showed her that you don’t have to push the throttle all the way down and shoot off at top speed. She learned to pulse the throttle and then work up to top speed. She loves it!
